Some basic information on charging your hardware.
To ensure that the battery level on your headset remains optimal, it is a good idea to plug it in while not in use. In conjunction with a proper Wi-Fi connection, this also helps to ensure your headset remains up to date.
Note: It is possible to use the headset while plugged in for charging, but this is not recommended by the manufacturer.
You can see the battery level of your headset and controllers while in VR by hovering your cursor over the battery level icon on the Oculus toolbar:
The 2 controllers use one standard AA battery each.
Charge the headset by plugging the included USB C charging cord into the device and into a power source:
The indicator light is white when your headset is turned on. The battery is charged when the indicator light turns green, and is orange while charging.
