Delphi Privacy and Your Data

How Delphi handles your data: no AI training on your content, identity masking, patient-information rules, and how to request deletion.

PrecisionOS does not use your Delphi conversations or uploads to train AI models, and neither do its AI service providers. This article explains what Delphi collects, how it's used, and what you must not upload. It reflects the PrecisionOS Terms of Use (Section 8, AI Features) and the Privacy Policy.

What we collect and why

PrecisionOS collects the information needed to run Delphi and personalize it to you, and does not sell your personal information. The full details are in the PrecisionOS Privacy Policy.

Third-party AI providers. Delphi uses third-party AI service providers, and your content may be processed in Canada and the United States. Before anything is sent to a third-party AI system, PrecisionOS removes or masks information that directly identifies you. Those providers are not permitted to train on your content.

You keep ownership of your uploads. PrecisionOS acquires no rights in the files you upload. They are used only to answer your questions and for the content screening described below.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. PrecisionOS will not use your uploads, your conversations with Delphi or Delphi's answers to train or fine-tune artificial intelligence models, and does not permit its third-party AI service providers to do so.

Patient information

Do not upload or type personal health information or anything that could identify a patient. This applies to text, images, scans, screenshots, embedded objects, file properties and metadata.

  • De-identify first. Patient-related material is allowed only if it has been de-identified under applicable law and your institution's policies, and your institution has authorized you to use it for education. Having the file, a clinician account or credentials does not by itself give you that authority.
  • Your own cases. Case notes or images for a patient you're treating must be de-identified and used only to learn about the procedure, technique or concept.
  • Blocked file types. Native medical imaging formats such as DICOM can't be uploaded. Don't try to work around file-type limits.
  • Learning, not patient care. Delphi is an educational tool, not a medical device. Don't use it to diagnose, treat or plan care for a specific patient, or to interpret a patient's records or images for their care. Learning about a procedure you expect to perform is fine.

PrecisionOS may screen uploads automatically or manually, and may reject, quarantine or delete material that breaks these rules. Screening doesn't catch everything and doesn't de-identify files for you, so removing patient information is your responsibility. If you upload something by mistake, email support@precisionostech.com so it can be deleted.

Access, correct or delete your data

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information PrecisionOS holds about you.

Files you upload to Delphi can be deleted at any time. To have your conversations or other personal information deleted, or to see or correct it:

  1. Email the Privacy Officer at info@precisionostech.com.
  2. Say what you'd like to do (access, correct or delete) and give the email address on your PrecisionOS account.
  3. PrecisionOS will respond to your request. If your account is managed by an institution, your request may be shared with that institution.
