How to Use Delphi on PrecisionOS.ai and Mobile.
Delphi™ is the PrecisionOS AI assistant for orthopaedic education, an "Attending Mentor" that answers clinical and surgical questions using only licensed orthopaedic sources, with every claim cited.
Unlike general AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) that draw on the open web, Delphi answers only from the content libraries in your plan: textbooks, journals, videos and surgical images from trusted orthopaedic publishers, societies and surgeons.
- Only licensed sources. Delphi does not use the open web. More libraries can be added to your plan at any time.
- Every claim cited. Answers show title, edition, chapter and page, with the source one click away.
- Honest about limits. When its sources don't support an answer, Delphi says so instead of guessing.
- Personalized. Delphi tailors answers to your training level and history, and can use surgeon preference cards and notes you upload.
Delphi supports clinical learning and case preparation. It does not replace clinical judgment.
Where you can use DelphiDelphi is one assistant available in three places: the web app at precisionos.ai, the PrecisionOS iOS app and the PrecisionOS Android app. Your conversations carry across them — start a question on your phone between cases and pick it up on the web.

Getting started on precisionos.aiTo open Delphi in the web app:
- In a web browser, go to precisionos.ai and sign in with your PrecisionOS account.
- Delphi opens on its home screen, with a greeting and a question box reading "Ask about a case, an approach or the evidence…".
- Use the left sidebar to move around:
- New question starts a fresh conversation.
- Library shows the content libraries in your plan.
- My Files holds documents you've uploaded, such as preference cards and notes.
- Recent lists your past conversations, including ones started in the mobile app.
- Your name and profile at the bottom of the sidebar opens your account and Settings.
- Not sure where to begin? Select Explore how Delphi can help under the question box for examples.
On your phone, install PrecisionOS from the App Store or Google Play, sign in with the same account, and your conversations will be there.
Asking Delphi a questionType your question in plain language, the way you'd ask an attending, and press the send arrow.
- Click the question box and describe what you need. For example:
- "I'm preparing for a rotator cuff repair, talk me through it."
- "Explain the Schatzker classification for tibial plateau fractures."
- "Show me a video on diagnostic shoulder arthroscopy."
- "Find me the latest paper on viscosupplementation."
- To include your own material, select + (Add files and more) and attach a file. Delphi weaves your uploads, such as an attending's preference card, into its answer.
- Select the send arrow.
- Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation to go deeper. Delphi keeps the context.
Reading the answer
- Citations. Each statement is cited with title, edition, chapter and page. Select a citation to open the source.
- Textbook text, images and videos. Answers can include the licensed textbook passage, surgical images and videos that start at the key step.
- Device content. Technique guides from device companies are always labeled with the company.
- No supported answer. If your plan's libraries don't cover the question, Delphi tells you rather than guessing. Adding libraries to your plan widens what it can answer.
Rating an answer
Use the thumbs up or thumbs down under an answer to tell us whether it helped. You can add a short comment (up to 100 characters).
Tips and getting help- Be specific. Name the procedure, fracture pattern, approach or classification, and add the patient context you're preparing for.
- Name a source when you want one. Ask for a particular author, course or paper, e.g. "Show me the Nice Shoulder Course video on…".
- Upload preferences once. Files in My Files are kept, so Delphi can use them in later answers.
- Verify before you act. Delphi supports learning and case prep; it does not replace clinical judgment.
