Compatibility
At this time, Meta Quest Touch Plus controllers can only be used with Meta Quest 3.
Setup and pairing
To pair your Touch Plus controllers to your Quest 3 headset:
- Make sure your headset is powered on.
- Turn on the left controller by pressing
- Turn on the right controller, by pressing
- After two seconds, you’ll see an LED light indicating your controller is powered on.
- Open the Meta Quest app on your phone.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap Devices.
- Tap on the headset you want to pair controllers to.
- Tap Controllers, then tap Left or Right to choose which controller you'd like to pair.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.
- Your controllers will show a blue and white blinking light when they are in pairing mode. A blue light will blink 3 times when your controller is successfully paired.
Once you've paired your controllers, the controllers will automatically connect to your headset each time you turn it on, if it's nearby.
Note: If you're using unsupported third-party controller accessories, such as sleeves, covers, or stickers, you may experience issues with controller pairing or tracking. If this happens, we recommend removing the unsupported accessory to see if that resolves the issue.
Controller LEDs
Your Meta Quest Touch Plus controllers are equipped with LED lights on the top edge of each controller to help you understand their current status, including charge level and pairing status.
LED color | What it means |
Blue | Pairing, trying to connect |
Green (in VR) | Battery charge level (4 dots is full charge) |
Red | Dead battery |
