Answer:
The System Status & Known Issues page provides updates on known technical issues, outages, or disruptions that may impact the performance of PrecisionOS applications and services.
Any active issues will be posted on this support page as soon as they are identified. Updates will be shared here until the issue is fully resolved.
Scheduled Maintenance will be posted on this support page 24 hours ahead of scheduled downtime.

Known Issue: Meta Quest Controllers Disappearing (v83 Update)

Status: Ongoing – External Platform Issue
Reported: December 9–10, 2025

Some customers using Meta Quest for Business devices managed via MHMS and XR MDMs may experience controllers disappearing or becoming unresponsive after updating to Meta Quest OS v83, including after exiting an app.

This issue has been confirmed by Meta Quest for Business and is caused by the Meta Quest OS update in managed environments.

Meta is actively working on a fix. PrecisionOS is monitoring the situation and will share updates or recommended actions as soon as Meta provides them.
