Updating the Cadaverlab

This guide explains how to update the Cadaverlab on your Meta Quest headset to ensure you have access to the latest features and improvements. Keeping the Cadaverlab up to date is important for optimal performance, access to new content, and compatibility with other PrecisionOS applications.

If your headset was NOT provisioned by PrecisionOS

If your app access is tied to your Meta account:

  1. Put on your headset
  2. Press the Meta button on your right controller
  3. Open Apps
  4. Select the drop-down filter and choose “Updates”
  5. Find Cadaverlab
  6. Select it to begin updating

If provisioned with ArborXR

  1. Put on your headset
  2. Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi
  3. The Cadaverlab update will automatically begin if one is available
  4. Wait for the update to complete

Once finished, open the Cadaverlab as usual.

If provisioned with Meta Horizon managed services

  1. Put on your headset
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi
  3. Updates to the Cadaverlab will automatically deploy
  4. Allow time for the update to install

You can open the Cadaverlab once the update is complete.
